Long Amon Data Seeds – Stem Amaranth | Denga / Dugi / আমন ডাঁটা / বাঁশ ডুগি

This is a premium Bangladeshi variety of stem amaranth, locally known as Denga, Dugi, or আমন ডাঁটা. The plants produce long, tender, and soft stems with excellent flavour, perfect for stir-fry and traditional Bengali dishes.

Easy to grow and well suited to UK gardens, allotments, and container growing. Best sown from late spring through summer for continuous harvesting. This fast-growing and highly productive variety performs best in warm conditions. For successful germination, seeds require consistent warmth both day and night. The ideal temperature range is between 26–32°C. Without steady heat, germination may be slow (up to four weeks) and success rates may be low.

These seeds are supplied for amateur gardening, hobby growing, home garden use and personal growing purposes only. They are not supplied for commercial crop production or professional farming use.

Germination Information:

Seed germination is a natural process and depends heavily on the buyer’s own growing conditions and method. Germination can be affected by temperature, compost or soil quality, moisture level, watering, sowing depth, ventilation, light, heat, seed storage after delivery, and overall care.

For best results, sow seeds in warm conditions using good quality compost. Keep the compost moist but not waterlogged. Overwatering, cold temperature, poor compost, lack of heat, sowing too deep, or keeping seeds too wet may cause poor germination or seed rot.

Terms & Conditions:

By purchasing these seeds, the buyer understands and agrees that germination is not guaranteed. Once the seeds are delivered, the growing process is fully outside our control.

We supply seeds in good faith for amateur and home gardening use only. We cannot be responsible for germination failure, poor plant growth, lack of flowering, low yield, pest damage, disease, weather-related problems, incorrect sowing method, unsuitable growing conditions, or lack of aftercare.

No refund or replacement will be provided for seeds that fail to germinate or plants that do not perform as expected after sowing, as results depend on the buyer’s own growing environment and care.

The buyer is responsible for researching and providing the correct growing conditions before purchasing and sowing the seeds.

Please purchase only if you understand and agree that these are non-certified seeds supplied for amateur/home gardening purposes only, and that results may vary from person to person.
